11:02 am	AMVs: A potential musical goldmine. Here's a little something I gotta get off my chest: AMVs and how most of them don't tell you what songs they used. >| I was watching a bunch of these things while waiting for a concert at AUSA yesterday, and there were at least three songs I liked. Here's the catch. I only have the title of ONE, and that's Rhythm Generation. One particular video that stood out for me was....well, I don't know what the song was, or even the anime's title. I just remember this big purple robot with wings on it's head, a girl in a yellow dress seemingly screaming in pain while this nutjob kid was slashing at her portrait in a dark room with a shard of glass. Oh, and these lyrics: I won't let you bury it I won't let you smother it I won't let you murder it. The song itself sounded dark and kinda had an industrial flair to it. I wish I knew a title at least. If any one of you out there in the land of the Friends List know a shred of what I'm rambling about, lemme know. As for now, I'm off to look through the internets. Oh, and some honorable mentions of these vids was one in particular that used a heavy metal remake of "Wind Beneath My Wings". It was a...Berserk video, I believe. Anyway, I was amused. 10:00 am	Late breaking news I've been "academically terminated" from art school. I found out on Monday and boy, was I distressed. Technically, I could get back in by writing an appeal letter to the dean explaining my ADD and why else I didn't fare well with my classes, but I figured this is just a sign that I should just take a break from the whole schooling thing. If I do come back, it'll be when I actually have a damn job so that my dad's not the only one busting his ass trying to pay off the damn loans. I'll probably take like, two classes a quarter. THAT I could handle. None of this four-classes-a-quarter shit. So to all my school buddies that I didn't get to see on Monday, sorry that you had to find out this way. I was too busy crying in a corner to IM most of you. In other news, AUSA is coming up. Usually I skip this one, but Kaya's performing and I actually want to go. If any of you are going, let me know and I'll try to meet up with ya. 5:14 pm	Boredom does strange things. I think I've found a substitute for my Gaia tarding...maybe. It's a shame how all the pretty dress up dolls usually have a forum behind them. This makes it hard for me to be a hermit. School's almost over for me...One. More. Fucking. Week. Oh, and by b-day's coming up soon. Gonna be 22. Chances are, I'm not doing shit for it. Well, maybe play some Dissidia. I loves me some Dissidia. I know I'll loves me some 358/2 Days too, 'cause I'm already half-way through the import. I would've beaten it by now, except I'm kind of hooked on Mission mode. 8:38 pm	OTAKON FUCK YEAH, CON. I'm all packed for my grand adventure into the bowels of anime and japanaland fandoms. It shall be glorious. However, I doubt I'll get much drawing done, whether for school or myself. I still have that backlog of drawings to do, but luckily I already wrote about them so I won't forget. I SWEAR I WON'T FORGET. Belate them maybe, but not forget. KHII has eaten my brain again, if only because that DS game's going to be coming out two days after my 22nd B-day. Again, FUCK YEAH. 7:46 pm	Morgue File Musings So I've been busily snapping up reference pictures for a morgue file I have to have done for Character and Object Design, and I can't screw up or else I'll be academically mutilated once again It's been going swell, what with all the stockpiled photos I've collected from this radiant land known as the Internets; however, I've a minor complaint that I will state in the form of a question: Why is it that I'm finding more of the better poses from women than men? Sure, it never hurts to have plenty of female models, but being female myself makes this a slightly moot point. I'd like to have some more dynamic poses from the opposite gender that clearly haven't come from a gay porn magazine model's portfolio-gallery-thing. Ah well, back to the search engines. I have both volumes of the show on DVD, but my cd drives aren't being recognized on my comp, and just...argh. Help with references would be greatly appreciate. I have the concepts in my head and all, but I need I need moar refs from the show so that I can get his darn beak right. Nega-Edit: I mean loose refs that I can print out, mostly. 12:16 pm	Chocolate Skittles and Pixel Flavored Water I know I should be working on a metric assload of things right now, but I've just recieved the mental equivalent of being kicked in the teeth: A bag of "chocolate mix" Skittles. Great, I love Skittles! But... They now have CHOCOLATE Skittles. Yes, Skittles. You know, "Taste the Rainbow" and all that rubbish. But...CHOCOLATE, and somehow vanilla is chocolatey enough to be included in this. I don't know how I should feel about this. The bag's sitting right next to me, with the big red and yellow NEW on the brown bag, and the only bit of color on it besides the trademark rainbow. And on that note, I am now making a mental note to go forth and search for a Chocolate Rainbow. It's gotta be out there somewheres. 1:56 pm	Ten is writing WHAT now? I am unsure as to how exactly it happened, but I have been persuaded into writing a fic. Yes, a fic. A parody fic to be precise. I have the first few chapters outlined. Somewhere along the line, I have been further inspired from multiple chats with hope_rising  and luna_hoshino , but mostly fromall the lulz from the <lj_comm="khfanfictionrants> and related fanfic communinities.
